| Tigers Bang Out 7-3 Win Versus Lerna | The Tenafly Tigers topped the Lerna Lions, 7-3, in Pete Rose League action at Ballpark of León HS. The player of the game was Tenafly pitcher and Colchester, Vermont native Chris Helstrom. Tenafly is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 4th in 13 games.
The Tigers got a big at-bat from right fielder Mike Holby. For the game, Holby was 2-5 with a triple and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. In the bottom of the second, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Tenafly a 3-0 lead.
"It's a mindset," said Helstrom. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
