| Navigators Get Road Win, 5-2 | The Norwich Navigators topped the Jefferson Indians, 5-2, in Hank Aaron League action at Ballpark of Monterrey HS. The player of the game was Norwich pitcher and Southampton, New York native Carl Yazstrzemski Jr.. Chris Sea finished to wrap up his 2nd save. Norwich is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 5th in 13 games.
In the top of the 6th, third baseman Justin Zangla gave Norwich the lead when he hit a 2-run single. The Navigators had been trailing 2-1, but the two-out single off Jefferson pitcher Paul Miley changed that -- and Norwich went on to win.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Norwich manager Dennis Robin. "It's usually not just one thing."
