It was a good time at Breakers Ballpark, where fans came to watch the Billings West Golden Bears and Topeka West Chargers get after it.

The Topeka West Chargers bested the Billings West Golden Bears, 9-8, at Breakers Ballpark. Fred Leavenworth was named player of the game. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The win was credited to Brayden Conroy in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Justin Maynard took the loss.

John Schroeder came through for Topeka West with a 2-run double in the bottom of the sixth. The right fielder went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 3 runs batted in.
