| Navigators Win at Riverside, 12-5 | The Norwich Navigators bested the Riverside Poly, 12-5, at Apollos Ballpark. Justin Zangla was named player of the game. He went 3-5 with a triple and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. David Valdez earned the save, his 1st, for the Navigators. The Navigators, with just their 3rd win so far in 2038, have yet to catch fire.
Early in the game, catcher Mike Royce had a 2-run double for Norwich. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Navigators on top, 3-1.
Royce told the Norwich Times: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
