| Republic Bang Out 6-4 Win Versus Kansas City | So Cal starter Orlando Días had a strong outing against the Kansas City Tornadoes at House of the Republic. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 6-4 win. George Fortin notched his 21st save in 24 chances. The Republic own a robust 50-28 mark.
The Republic got a big at-bat from left fielder Walt Muller. For the game, Muller went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 74th hit of the season gave So Cal a 4-3 lead.
"Orlando was Orlando," said Republic manager Adrián Carne. "We know what we'll get whenever he takes the mound."
