Tigers Clip Patriots in Tight Contest

Tioga Central rode a decent outing from starter Luis Hernandez to victory over the Francis Lewis Patriots at Alleycats Ballpark. The final score was 4-3. Kurt Tyler closed the game out for Tioga Central, earning his 1st save. The Patriots drop to 4-6 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2038 season.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and one out in the bottom of the sixth inning. That's when designated hitter Steve Roche drew a walk. The Tigers went on to win.

"We did a lot of things right," said Roche.
