| Multi-HR Game for Reynolds in 5-1 Win | The Lerna Lions defeated the Topeka West Chargers, 5-1, in Pete Rose League action at Ballpark of Ecatepec HS, with Lerna third baseman Danny Reynolds named player of the game. The Lions raised their record to 5-3.
Reynolds came through with some timely hitting for Lerna. With the score 0-0 in the bottom of the third and two down, Reynolds hit a full count cutter for a solo home run. His 3rd home run of the season made it 1-0, Lerna.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Reynolds told reporters after the game.
