| Hot Start Continues for Cardinals | The Kearny High Cardinals defeated the College Park, 6-4, in Hank Aaron League action at Swamp Foxes Stadium, with Kearny High pitcher Justin Nolen named player of the game. Nolen, now 1-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 5, walking 1, and allowing 2 earned runs. With their winning streak at 5, the Cardinals have raced to a strong start this season.
John Malinowski aided the Kearny High cause with a run-scoring ground out in the top of the first. For the game, the catcher drove in one run.
