| Cardinals Rally to Eke Out Win | The Cardinals grabbed a win, 7-6, at Swamp Foxes Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from College pitcher Jeremy Steimel. Steimel went 7.1 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Earning his 1st save of the year was Hisatomo Asano. At 5-2, the Cardinals have played well so far.
The Cardinals got a big at-bat from first baseman Bryan Carbone. For the game, Carbone went 2-2 with 2 singles. In the top of the 12th, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 2nd hit of the season gave Kearny High a 7-6 lead.
