| Panthers Stymie Norwich, Take 4-1 Win | Pitman High got a strong outing from John Keeton as the Panthers defeated the Norwich Navigators, 4-1, at Chickenhawks Stadium. In 6.1 innings, Keeton surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. Jared Braddick sewed up the save, his 3rd.
Herman Meagher aided the Pitman High cause with a 2-run double in the top of the fifth. For the game, the third baseman was 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Keeton told the Pitman High Times.
Every game is important, even these early ones, if the Panthers hope to make a postseason run.
