| Warhawks Trip Indians in Extras | The Seminole Warhawks outlasted the Jefferson Indians in an extra-inning thriller.
Jefferson designated hitter Chad Porter had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Porter went 3-6 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3, even as Seminole beat the Indians, 5-4. Porter was named the player of the game despite the loss. The loss drops Jefferson to 3-2.
Seminole won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With one out and Joe Pennington on the mound for Jefferson, third baseman Josh Mazik hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Warhawks fans to their feet.
"This is a resilient bunch," said Seminole manager Rich Nolin.
