Patriots Win at Lerna, 11-6

Patriots left fielder Jay Swetnam put his stamp on his team's 11-6 win over the Lerna Lions. Swetnam went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Francis Lewis in the contest. Getting the save was Mario Guerra, his 1st. With the loss, Lerna falls to 2-2.

Cody Modglin drew 1 walk for Francis Lewis. The 17-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the third. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring walk off Ken Harper. It was his 3rd walk of the season.
