| Mustangs Get Road Win, 4-1 | The Billings West Golden Bears got a superb performance from pitcher Jaden Edwards. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Downsview. The Mustangs won the game, 4-1. In spite of the loss, Edwards was named the player of the game. He threw 6 innings allowing 2 runs. Josh Creevy recorded the save for Downsview, his 2nd of the season. The Mustangs, now 3-1, have been on a roll in the early going.
Justin Papile chipped in for Downsview with a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh. For the game, the catcher had 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Downsview manager Ralph Prince.
