| Indians Get Road Win, 7-2 | The Jefferson Indians stymied the Seminole Warhawks, 7-2, at Attack Ballpark. Colin Bieri, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He threw 7 innings allowing 2 runs for Jefferson. In 7.1 innings, Bieri surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 10 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs. Joe Pennington recorded the save for Jefferson, his 2nd of the season.
Sam Pavlik, who is the 5th-best prospect in the Indians organization, chipped in for Jefferson with a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Bieri told the Jefferson News.
The Indians, now 3-1, have played some good baseball in the early going.
