| Tigers Bang Out 9-7 Win Versus Downsview | The Tenafly Tigers overcame a good performance by Downsview first baseman Bob Davis to knock off Downsview, 9-7, at Ballpark of León HS. Davis was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Gil Pund earned the save for Tenafly, his 1st of the year. The Tigers have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 1st win in 3 games.
Tim Kaupa aided the Tenafly cause with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the second. For the game, the left fielder went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Kaupa. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
