| Levreault goes 4-for-5 to Pull Lancers to .500 | The Canby Lancers beat the Derby Panthers, 9-6, at Managua HS Grounds. The win was largely due to the efforts of catcher Eric Levreault, who captured player of the game honors. He was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Manny Barrera nailed down his 1st save. The Lancers raised their record to 1-1.
Daniel Staub Jr., who is the top prospect in the Lancers organization, aided the Canby cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh. For the game, the center fielder was 2 for 6 with 2 singles.
