| Outlaws Win at Victoria, 13-8 | The Calgary Outlaws beat the Victoria Capitals, 13-8, at Ballpark of Chilliwack College. The Outlaws got a fine performance from third baseman Pat Inglis, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The Capitals, now 23-32, have lost 4 straight.
It could have been a different outcome for Calgary, had it not been for Anthony Mullen, the 19-year old second baseman . Mullen contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put Calgary up, 8-6.
"It was a solid team effort," said Inglis after the game.
