The Trois-Rivieres Saints stymied the Niagara Stars, 6-1, at Blue Wings Ballpark. Chad Caines, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Trois-Rivieres. The winner was Rob Sparks, who threw 81 pitches over 5 innings.
