| Heat Subdue Saskatoon, 5-4 | Saskatoon got a terrific game from first baseman Steve Dyke. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Kelowna, 5-4. Dyke was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He was 2 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Dave Bruce picked up the save, his 8th. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Kelowna.
The Heat got a big at-bat from catcher Andrew Bailey. For the game, Bailey was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 9th home run of the season gave Kelowna a 5-4 lead.
