| Mullen Goes Wild, But Stars Win | Calgary got a terrific game from second baseman Anthony Mullen. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Niagara, 13-8. Mullen was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The winner was Neal Stackhouse in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Allen Miron took the loss. The Stars raised their record to 23-30.
The Stars got a big at-bat from catcher Max Wyman. For the game, Wyman went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. In the top of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 7th double of the season gave Niagara a 2-0 lead.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Wyman said.
