Dryden Excels, But Saints Win

London first baseman Fritz Dryden had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 14-9, to Trois-Rivieres at Blue Wings Ballpark. Dryden belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Trois-Rivieres reliever Kyle Ford picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Jon Ridler absorbed the loss. Trois-Rivieres leads the Lester B. Person League East Division by 5 games.

Nate Tessier went 1-4 with a walk for Trois-Rivieres. The 20-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 7-7 tie with a run-scoring walk off Norris Burton. It was his 36th walk of the season.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Tessier told the Trois-Rivieres Daily News.
