| Capitals Lose, 7-2, at Brantford College Grounds | Austin Nichol helped his team muscle past the Victoria Capitals, 7-2. In the game, the Kelowna designated hitter went 2-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs. The Heat bumped their record to 26-24 with this latest triumph.
Nichol had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Heat went on to win.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Nichol told the Kelowna Citizen.
