| Legends Lose, 5-2, at Drummondville College Grounds | It was a good time at Drummondville College Grounds, where fans came to watch the Saskatoon Legends and Niagara Stars get after it.
Niagara Stars starter Matt Cassidy pitched a strong game against the Saskatoon Legends at Drummondville College Grounds, leading the Stars to a 5-2 win. Bret Hollett saved it for Niagara.
The Stars got a big at-bat from first baseman Vyacheslav Vodarsky. For the game, Vodarsky was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 16th home run of the season gave Niagara a 2-1 lead.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Niagara manager Miguel Ortega.
The third-place Stars now have a win-loss record of 22-28.
