| Saints Edge Legends, 6-5 | Trois-Rivieres right fielder Jérôme Petit made his presence felt in the 6-5 Saints triumph over the Saskatoon Legends. Petit went 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times. Frank Rudge got credit for the save for Trois-Rivieres. It was his 1st of the year. Trois-Rivieres is now 32-17, 5 games up in the Lester B. Person League East Division.
Jeff Russell's hit in the top of the 13th was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a fastball from Trevor Picard for a run-scoring double. It put Trois-Rivieres in front, 6-5.
"It wasn't our best performance," said Russell, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
