London Monarchs starter Morgan Richard turned in a top-notch performance against the Victoria Capitals at Ballpark of Chilliwack College. The result was a win for the Monarchs, 5-1. The Monarchs, now 26-22, have won 4 in a row.

The Monarchs got a big at-bat from catcher Forbes Egan. For the game, Egan went 1 for 2 with a double and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the second, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 4th double of the season gave London a 3-1 lead.
