| Brisson Goes Off, But Saints Win | Benny Brisson had a good game, but he could not keep the Calgary Outlaws from falling, 14-10, to the Trois-Rivieres Saints at Blue Wings Ballpark. The Calgary left fielder hit 2 home runs. He scored 4 runs and drove in 5 in the loss. Trois-Rivieres reliever Jim McAskill was the winner. His record is now 1-3. John Krant took the loss. The Saints own a robust 31-16 mark.
Jeff Russell swatted a grand slam home run for Trois-Rivieres in the bottom of the eighth. The center fielder went 2 for 3 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and batted in 5.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Russell said after the game.
