Saskatoon beat Victoria on the strength of starter Wayne Wiseman's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 4-3 win. The winning pitcher was Wiseman, now 2-2. He tossed 6 innings of 1-hit ball, while walking 4 and fanning 6. The Legends bumped their record to 24-22 with this latest triumph.

Steve Dyke, who is tied for 10th in the LBL in RBI with 39, aided the Saskatoon cause with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the first baseman hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice.

"We found a way to get it done," Dyke said.
