| Legends Score Late, Upend Stars, 4-3 | Steve Dyke left his imprint on the 4-3 Saskatoon win against the Niagara Stars. Dyke, who is tied for 7th in the LBL with a .599 slugging percentage, went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Paul Doiron was credited with the save for Saskatoon, his 4th of the season. The Stars, at 20-25, have lost 6 in a row.
Dyke had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-2 fastball from Chance Fisher, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Legends a 4-2 lead. It was the 13th home run of the year for Dyke.
"Both teams played hard," said Saskatoon manager Roger George.
