| Gillberry drives in 5 runs, Saints Move to 30-15 | The Trois-Rivieres Saints topped the Montreal Royales by the score of 8-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to catcher Ron Gillberry. Gillberry went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5 for the Saints on the day. Bill Whimster was credited with the save for Trois-Rivieres, his 12th of the season. The Saints own a robust 30-15 mark.
Gillberry had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth inning, when he hit a bases-clearing double. The Saints went on to win.
