| Multi-HR Game for Bevan in 8-4 Win | The Saskatoon Legends beat the London Monarchs, 8-4, at Hatchets Ballpark. Saskatoon third baseman Nate Bevan earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He belted 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. The Legends bumped their record to 22-22 with this latest triumph.
Bevan had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 0-2 fastball from Leif Hooper, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Legends a 3-2 lead. It was the 11th home run of the year for Bevan.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Bevan.
