The Kelowna Heat handed the Saskatoon Legends a loss at Brantford College Grounds. The final score was 8-4. Elliott Atherton was named player of the game for Kelowna. In addition to his 1 single and 1 home run, he scored 1 run and drove in 3. He also added 1 walk. At 24-19, the Heat have a slim two-game lead in the Lester B. Person League West Division.
Atherton contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Kelowna in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 2-0, Atherton took a fastball from Kennan Dicks and stroked the home run to left. His 5th home run of the season allowed the Heat to leap in front, 3-2.
