| Multi-HR Day for Harding as Legends Overpower Royales, 6-3 | The Saskatoon Legends beat the Montreal Royales, 6-3, at Eliminators Ballpark. The Legends got a fine performance from shortstop David Harding, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3-4 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. The Legends bumped their record to 20-20 with this latest triumph.
Saskatoon used the clutch hitting of Ronnie Adronyk to capture the win. The center fielder drilled a bases-clearing double in the top of the second inning to give the Legends the lead, 3-0. For the game, Adronyk had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Adronyk.
