| Stars Fall to .500 After Loss to Capitals | The Victoria Capitals topped the Niagara Stars, 7-4, in CANADIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE action at Drummondville College Grounds. The player of the game was Victoria second baseman Gordon McLean. Chris Killingsworth earned the win to go to 4-4. He allowed 3 earned runs on 8 hits, with 4 walks and 5 strikeouts. Kelly Jayne earned the save for Victoria, his 3rd of the year.
