| Heat Prevail, 7-5, Over Trois-Rivieres | Trois-Rivieres pitcher Josh Sanford gave the Heat all they could handle, but in the end, Kelowna left Brantford College Grounds with a 7-5 win. Sanford allowed no earned runs on 2 hits over 5 innings. Kelowna reliever Jose Aguayo picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Tyler Morrissey absorbed the loss. Kelowna leads the Lester B. Person League West Division by 2 games.
Kelowna took a 7-5 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With one out, first baseman Nate Oncale hit a grand slam home run that set the crowd abuzz.
