The Niagara Stars beat the Montreal Royales, 9-4, at Drummondville College Grounds. The Stars got a fine performance from catcher Max Wyman, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Gary Hales, the winner, improved to 2-2.
