Petit Hits 3 home runs in Saints Win

Behind a solid performance from right fielder Jérôme Petit, the Trois-Rivieres Saints defeated the Victoria Capitals, 10-4. Petit belted 3 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring three times for the Saints. Trois-Rivieres reliever Kurt Hackler was credited with the win, to go to 4-0. Chris Killingsworth took the loss for Victoria. Trois-Rivieres has an impressive 24-11 record.

Petit had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Saints went on to win.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Petit, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
