Victory Pushes Heat Record to 16-15
The Kelowna Heat topped the Montreal Royales by the score of 7-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to left fielder Carlos Javier. Javier was 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Heat on the day. Darrell Cuff was called on to finish, recording his 1st save. The Heat bumped their record to 16-15 with this latest triumph.

Kelowna grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Javier, who is tied for 9th in the LBL in bases on balls with 21, hit a 2-run home run. His 11th home run of the season put the Heat out in front, 6-4.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Javier said.
