Saints Continue Hot Start to Season With Win

Pete Dill led Trois-Rivieres to a win over Montreal. The final score was 7-6. The left fielder collected 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. The save went to Bill Whimster, his 8th this season. The Saints bumped their record to 23-7 with this latest triumph.

With Trois-Rivieres leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Dill hit a fastball from Dorian Barlow for a 2-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Saints ahead, 3-0.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Trois-Rivieres manager Ira Wood.
