| Legends Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras | The Saskatoon Legends knocked off the Montreal Royales, 6-4, at Ballpark of Red Deer College. David Harding, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Saskatoon won. The shortstop went 2 for 6 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Royales, now 11-16, have lost 5 straight.
Harding had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the 12th. On a 1-1 fastball from Mike Mills, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Legends a 6-4 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Harding.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Harding told the Saskatoon Daily.
