Victoria Capitals starter Kelly Jayne turned in an exceptional performance against the Saskatoon Legends at Ballpark of Chilliwack College, resulting in a Victoria win, 5-2. The Capitals are now 11-14, while the Legends fall to 13-12.

Dave Adickes drew 1 walk in 4 trips to the plate for Victoria. The 23-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Bill Wooldridge. It was his 13th walk of the season.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Jayne said.
