| Royales Edge Past Heat, 4-3 | Montreal right fielder Moses Andrews was a significant contributor in his team's 4-3 triumph over the Kelowna Heat. He went 2 for 6 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for Montreal. Montreal reliever Eric Wagner picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Roger Suzuki shouldered the loss. The Royales bumped their record to 11-11 with this latest triumph.
Andrews had a game-changing home run in the top of the 15th. On a 1-2 fastball from Roger Suzuki, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Royales a 4-3 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Andrews.
After the game, Montreal manager Kamatari Inoue applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
