| Late Rally by Legends Secures Win | The Saskatoon Legends defeated the Niagara Stars, 12-9, at Ballpark of Red Deer College. Saskatoon shortstop David Harding was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 3-3 with 3 singles and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI. The winner was Jordan Patterson in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Timothy Anthony took the loss. The Legends have now won 4 straight.
The Legends got a big at-bat from center fielder Scott Zwicker. For the game, Zwicker was 1-1 with a triple, while adding 3 RBI. In the bottom of the eighth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Saskatoon a 12-9 lead.
