Blazers Prevail, 9-7, Over Mile High

The Bloomington Blazers topped the Mile High Mustangs by the score of 9-7, with the biggest share of the credit going to shortstop Fernando Franco. Franco went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Blazers on the day. The Blazers bumped their record to 38-36 with this latest triumph.

Franco had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Blazers went on to win.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Franco told the Bloomington Chronicle.
