| Legends Jolt Outlaws with Late Rally | The Saskatoon Legends powered past the Calgary Outlaws, 8-6, at Ballpark of Red Deer College. Steve Dyke was 3 for 5 with 3 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once, to lead the charge. Saskatoon reliever Tom Dyck picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. John Krant shouldered the loss. Brett Conroy finished the game for Saskatoon and earned his 4th save.
Dyke had a game-changing single in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-0 fastball from John Krant, he banged a 2-run single to left, giving the Legends a 8-6 lead. It was the 20th hit of the year for Dyke.
"We'll savor this win," Dyke told the Saskatoon Daily, "then get ready for the next game."
The Legends bumped their record to 9-9 with this latest triumph.
