The Saskatoon Legends dealt the Trois-Rivieres Saints a 6-4 loss at Ballpark of Red Deer College. Steve Dyke was the star on offense. He went 1 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Saskatoon, at 8-9, occupies second place in the Lester B. Person League West Division.

With no one out in the bottom of the fifth, Sal Castro stroked a go-ahead run-scoring single. It was his 14th hit of the season and put Saskatoon in front, 5-4.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Dyke said.
