Republic Jolt Islanders with Late Rally

The So Cal Republic topped the Hawaii Islanders by the score of 10-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Gerd Zabel. Zabel went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs for the Republic on the day. So Cal reliever Tony Bacon picked up the win, upping his record to 5-1. Fred Argueta shouldered the loss. The Republic own a robust 49-27 mark.
