| Multi-HR Game for Jones in 8-6 Win | The London Monarchs topped the Saskatoon Legends, 8-6, in CANADIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE action at Hatchets Ballpark. The player of the game was London shortstop Herman Jones. Victor Perez earned the save, his 3rd, for the Monarchs. London's record now stands at 9-7, placing them second in the Lester B. Person League East Division.
Taylor Devaney drew 1 walk in his only trip to the plate for London. The 23-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 6-6 tie with a run-scoring walk off Trevor Picard. It was his 1st walk of the season.
"We take it day by day here," said Jones, "and today was a good one for us."
