| Stars Clip Outlaws, 5-4 | A 3-RBI performance from third baseman Dave Feist led the Niagara Stars to a 5-4 win over the Calgary Outlaws. Timothy Anthony got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 3 runs on 4 hits in 2.1 innings. Chance Fisher closed the game out for Niagara, earning his 2nd save.
Feist had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 1-0 changeup from Vic Nixon, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Stars a 4-1 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Feist.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Feist.
Niagara is in last place in the Lester B. Person League East Division with a record of 5-8.
