| Rowe goes 3-for-5 as Stars Squeeze Past Saskatoon | The Niagara Stars scored a 10-9 win versus the Saskatoon Legends at Ballpark of Red Deer College. Niagara center fielder Darrell Rowe nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Niagara reliever Joe Ford picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Tyler Gower absorbed the loss. The Legends drop to 4-7 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2038 season.
Barry Hargrove, who is the 5th-best prospect in the Stars organization, chipped in for Niagara with a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 4 runs batted in.
"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Niagara skipper Miguel Ortega.
