| Victory Over Royales Takes Trois-Rivieres to 10-1 | Trois-Rivieres got a strong outing from Doug Umlah as the Saints defeated the Montreal Royales, 3-0, at Eliminators Ballpark. Bill Whimster finished the game for Trois-Rivieres and earned his 2nd save. Trois-Rivieres, now 10-1, has gotten their season off to a good start.
Rodney Killy, who is tied for 4th in the LBL in runs scored with 10, aided the Trois-Rivieres cause with a solo home run in the top of the third. For the game, the designated hitter was 1-4 with a home run.
